SWIFT is a one of its kind organization that enables banks and other financial institutions worldwide to connect and exchange financial information securely and reliably to execute payments and wire transfers. SWIFT also brings the financial community together to work collaboratively to shape market practice, define standards and debate issues of mutual interest.

About the Sibos Conference

For one week every year, SWIFT brings together some 8,000 business leaders, decision makers and topic experts from a range of financial institutions, market infrastructures, multinational corporations and technology partners at its premier financial services event called Sibos.

SWIFT reached out to GoodCore to develop a mobile solution that can be offered to the participants to supplement and enhance their experience at the prestigious Sibos events.

Sibos Mobile Solution

GoodCore developed a mobile solution in the form of a smartphone and tablet app for both iOS and Android platforms. Participants can use the mobile app to view information about the event such as session, speakers, and news.

The app offers interactive 3D floor plans and integration with the latest beacon technology that enables the event participants to view the exhibitions and navigate to different sections during the conference.

Using a built-in messaging features, users of the app can communicate with other attendees and exchange business and contact information. The application also works in offline mode and part of application works even without internet connectivity.

The Impact

The mobile solution we built enabled tens of thousands of participants to manage their event participation better and gain access to the right information quickly and easily.

GoodCore first developed the app to be used during Sibos 2016 held in Geneva. We later upgraded and enhanced the app for Sibos 2017 event in Toronto. And SWIFT has trusted GoodCore again to upgrade and enhance the app for Sibos 2018 to be held in Sydney.
