Our client offered numerous free treatments and medicines to its patients based on their past drug purchase history. The program was well received but a lot of patients lost out on the offerings because of their ignorance about the latest offers and discounts and also because in order to purchase the drugs and claim the rewards, they had to go through the local clinics and doctors. Transparency between patients and the pharmaceutical company was lacking due to the layers involved in the process.
GoodCore built a web based portal with the associated administration console for our client.
For the patients, the portal offered functionality to upload their purchase history and be notified when they are eligible for discounts.
Using the administration console, our client was able to design and publish discount schemes for various medicines. This involved setting up rules stating how many purchases entitled a discount or free treatment, and designing a progression of greater discounts. It also offered work flow for the administrators to verify patient claims and registration requests.
The online portal GoodCore built for the patience assistance program enabled the deserving patients to get access to their fair entitlement of free medicine and allowed our client to achieve a level of transparency with patients which was not possible before.
